Professional Development Workshop Series in Criminology

The Eurasian Campus successfully conducted the “Crime Scene Mapping and Techniques for Reading and Interpreting Crime Scene Maps” workshop as part of its Professional Development Workshop Series in Criminology.

The workshop was facilitated by Police Inspector Chamara Wijeratne, Lecturer at the Sri Lanka Police Academy, who shared valuable professional knowledge and practical expertise in crime scene investigation, mapping, and interpretation.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Sampath Kumara Liyanage, who is in charge of Training and Advanced Training of the Sri Lanka Police, and to the Director and officers of the Sri Lanka Police Academy for their generous support in making this workshop a success.

The workshop provided participants with an excellent opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge, practical skills, and analytical abilities in the field of criminal investigation.

Students enrolled in the Criminology programmes at Eurasian Campus actively participated in this academic workshop, further strengthening the collaboration between higher education and professional law enforcement expertise.
