Eurasian Campus Supports ITN Pooja Vesak Zone and Community Almsgiving Programme in Piliyandala
As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, Eurasian Campus actively participated in supporting the ITN Pooja Vesak Zone in Piliyandala, contributing to the beautification and success of this important cultural and religious event.
Demonstrating the University’s dedication to humanitarian values and community service, Eurasian University provided its support to the five-day continuous rice dansala (almsgiving program). On 1 June, the University proudly served as a principal contributor to the day’s charitable activities, helping to provide meals to devotees and members of the public attending the Vesak celebrations.
The inauguration of this community initiative was graced by the presence of the Venerable Vice Chancellor of Eurasian Campus, the Head of the Welfare Division, and the Dean of the Faculty of Management, who joined in commemorating this meaningful occasion.
This participation reflects Eurasian University’s commitment to fostering compassion, social responsibility, and community partnership while promoting the values of generosity and service that are deeply rooted in Sri Lankan culture and Buddhist traditions.
