OVERVIEW
This Higher Diploma in TESOL program equips you with the knowledge and skills to become a highly qualified teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Through a combination of theoretical and practical courses, you’ll gain a strong foundation in linguistics, language acquisition, and TESOL methodologies. Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Having passed the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) examination and being employed in a job or work in the following institution for more than 2 (Two) years. • In a Government / Public Sector Institution • In a private sector organization • In a non-governmental organization • In an NGO • Being a business owner • Being self-employed
- Passing the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) examination in any stream.
- Having obtained the (Sri Lanka Qualification Frame Work) (NVQ) 3
INVESTMENT
Fee Structure
Registration Fee: Rs. 5000
Course Fee: Rs. 155000
In case of payment of Registration/Course and University fees at the same time, the amount payable for the entire course is Rs. 10,000 less.
Every course registered student will receive International Student Registration with student ID cards and student registration letters through Nile University of Science and Technology recognized by the University Grants Commission within one month.
Students paying international university fees in installments in 10 months : Rs. 23,000 in ten installments each.
Note
All registered students will receive International Student Registration, including an official Student ID Card and Student Registration Letter, issued through Nile University of Science and Technology, which is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). These documents will be issued within one month of successful registration.
Students may initially register for the programme by paying Rs. 5,000 and attend lectures for one month to assess the quality of the course. During this period, the Nile University registration fee of Rs. 25,000 must be paid. Upon completion of payment, international student registration will be issued within one month.
Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, in accordance with institutional financial policies and regulations.
