Annual Educational Visit on Buddhist Culture Successfully Held with Students from the University of Agder, Norway
The Eurasian Campus proudly continued its long-standing tradition of fostering intercultural and academic exchange by successfully organizing an Educational Visit on Buddhist Culture and Comparative Religious Studies on 17 January 2025 for a delegation of students from the University of Agder, Norway.
The program featured insightful academic sessions conducted at the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, offering participants a meaningful introduction to Sri Lanka’s rich Buddhist heritage, philosophical teachings, and contemporary academic environment.
This visit was organized on behalf of the Hon. Vice Chancellor Thero of Eurasian Campus, with overall coordination led by Ven. Dr. Dehipe Chandavimala Thero, Senior Lecturer at Eurasian University. His dedicated efforts ensured the smooth, well-structured, and successful execution of the event.
This annual initiative continues to strengthen international academic collaboration, promote cross-cultural understanding, and deepen global appreciation for Buddhist teachings and Sri Lanka’s cultural legacy.
