Nile – Eurasian International Journal of Humanities (NEIJH) is a jointly published academic journal by the Research Unit of Eurasian Campus – Sri Lanka and Nile University of Science and Technology. The NEIJH, established in 2024, aims to disseminate innovative knowledge related to the field of Humanities. It is a research-oriented double-blind peer – reviewed semi-annual journal. All the submissions are subject to a plagiarism checking before beginning the review process. The journal welcomes high-quality original research articles and book-reviews connected to the field of Humanities.

We are delighted to invite high-quality submissions for the Nile-Eurasian International Journal of Humanities (NEIJH), a newly established, research-oriented, double-blind, peer-reviewed semi-annual journal. NEIJH is a collaboration between the Research Unit of Eurasian Campus, Sri Lanka, and the Nile University of Science and Technology, aimed at advancing knowledge in the Humanities.

  • Language: English
  • Word Count: Research articles should be between 8000-14000 words (inclusive of notes and references).
  • Abstract: Articles must include an abstract of 150 words along with 3-5 keywords.
  • Referencing Style: Harvard referencing style.
  • Format: Submissions should be in MS Word and PDF format. Use Times New Roman font, including for diacritics. Figures, if any, must be high quality.
  • Policies: Submissions must be original and unpublished. Articles generated partially or totally with AI tools will not be accepted.
  • Additional Documents: Authors must include a cover letter, copyright declaration, and a short bio (150 words).
  • All submissions will undergo plagiarism screening (Turnitin).
  • Manuscripts approved by the editorial board will be sent for blind peer review. Decisions will include:
    • Acceptance with minor revisions
    • Acceptance with major revisions
    • Rejection
  • Accepted authors will receive an official acceptance email and further guidance for final submission.
  • Publication Timeline: Upon final submission, accepted articles will be published within 8 weeks.
