Nile – Eurasian International Journal of Humanities (NEIJH) is a jointly published academic journal by the Research Unit of Eurasian Campus – Sri Lanka and Nile University of Science and Technology. The NEIJH, established in 2024, aims to disseminate innovative knowledge related to the field of Humanities. It is a research-oriented double-blind peer – reviewed semi-annual journal. All the submissions are subject to a plagiarism checking before beginning the review process. The journal welcomes high-quality original research articles and book-reviews connected to the field of Humanities.

Prepare for submission
You are required to submit a short biography, cover letter, and copyright declaration statement of originality along with your research article and/or book review. We accept manuscripts in English only. Authors are requested to use standard language, methodology, and maintain originality in their papers.
Types of the Manuscript
The journal publishes both research articles and book reviews. Your research article should not be less than 8000 words and should not exceed 14000 words, including notes and references.
Format
We advise you to submit your manuscript as a Word file (.doc) as well as a PDF. The font for diacritics should be Times Extended New Roman. If any figures are attached, they should be of high quality.
Abstract
An abstract limited to 150 words is compulsory for submission with a research article. It should also include three to five (3-5) keywords.
Referencing
The NEIJH accepts the Chicago referencing system only (17th edition).
Short Bio
Authors are requested to submit a short biography along with the article. It should be limited to 150 words.
Editorial Process
Double-blind review |
First of all, submitted manuscripts will be tested with a plagiarism checker (Turnitin). If the editorial board is satisfied, the manuscript will be forwarded to the appointed reviewers as blind documents. After examining the review reports, the editorial board will move to the final decision: accept with minor corrections, accept with major corrections, or reject. |
Acceptance |
Once the article is accepted, the author will receive an official acceptance letter and will be informed to follow the comments of the reviewers and editors. With the final submission of the manuscript, the author has to submit a signed agreement to the NEIJH. From the date of the final (edited) manuscript submission, the journal will be published within 8 weeks. |
Publication Fee
The NEIJH does not charge any publication fees.
